About CLR

Construction Labour Relations Association of BC was established in 1969 with the objective of bringing labour relations stability and security to contractors in BC's unionized construction sector. The Association has grown and changed in many ways over the years, and its objectives have been expanded to include a commitment to health & safety and training excellence.

Membership in CLR is voluntary, and services are provided to member and independent contractors alike. CLR members are eligible for election to the Association's governing bodies - the board of directors comprised of 13 fellow contractors, and the council of approximately 65 contractors representing all trade sectors within the Association and all geographical regions of the province - providing them the opportunity of participating in Association policy-making or industry negotiations.
