2008 STATUTORY HOLIDAYS

The following holiday schedule lists both the actual dates of the specified statutory holidays for 2008 and the date on which the holiday will be observed where that date differs from the actual holiday date.

*On all Commercial and Institutional Projects:
If work is performed on Heritage Day (Monday, February 18, 2008) and/or the Friday before Labour Day (Friday, August 29, 2008) it shall be paid at straight time rates, and an alternate day scheduled to be taken off as mutually agreed between the Employer and the Employee.

The above schedule does not necessarily apply to the following agreements; therefore you should refer to the agreement to confirm the appropriate statutory holiday schedule. Questions should be referred to the CLR Staff Officer responsible for that agreement.
