CLR’s AGM/Conference – Change of Venue**UPDATE**

Schedule of Events – Attendees – revised

According to Provincial Health Officer directives ALL EVENT ATTENDEES MUST PRODUCE THEIR VACCINE PASSPORT AT THE EVENT TO PARTICIPATE.  All PHO orders will be strictly followed.

With the wildfire situation in BC’s interior continuing to grow more uncertain everyday, combined with the number of COVID cases in the Interior Health Region, the CLR made the decision to move the event from the Delta Grand Okanagan Resort in Kelowna to the JW Marriott Parq Vancouver in downtown Vancouver

With the current regional restrictions in place from the PHO, if this event were scheduled to occur in August we would be prohibited from meeting and at this point it is not clear when that order will be lifted.  In addition, it is not clear where the current wildfire situation in the interior will be in a month and it is important to respect the advice from the province to avoid travel to the region.  In the interests of both providing both reasonable notice to the Delta Grand and enough time to manage the logistics of a venue change it was necessary to make this decision now rather than waiting till a later date.

The event schedule will remain the same with the only change being the activities offered on Saturday September 18th.  Staff are diligently working on finding new and exciting activities for the Saturday and once details are finalized, we will notify those guests who signed up for activities in Kelowna and give them the option of joining one of the new ones offered or requesting a refund for the activity they originally signed up for.

The JW Marriott Parq Vancouver room block is now CLOSED!  Please contact the hotel directly at (604) 676-0888 and request a room under the Construction Labour Relations Assoc.
