Welcome to the October edition of the CLR CONNECTOR.

Our 54th Annual Meeting & Conference concluded last month. I strongly recommend that you delve into the valuable insights presented by our esteemed speakers. We extend our gratitude to the members who joined us, we look forward to welcoming both new and familiar faces next year at our momentous 55th Annual Meeting & Conference.

Turning to recent developments, we are thrilled to highlight significant milestones. Premier David Eby introduced a mandatory provision, ensuring that workers on construction sites with 25 or more individuals will have access to flushable toilets. In addition to this news, Premier Eby determined that everyone in our industry have access to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) that fits every individual body type, size and gender when available.

Our commitment to the well-being of those in the construction industry extends to our Health and Safety segment, where we explore critical matters such as mental health and suicide rates among construction workers. We also highlight the available resources aimed at providing assistance and support to those in need.

We hope you enjoy your read of the CLR CONNECTOR, and if you have any feedback, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our Marketing and Communications Coordinator, Harpreet Atwal, at harpreeta@clra-bc.com.
