As we close the chapter on 2023, I want to reflect on our journey and set our intentions for 2024. This past year has been filled with both triumphs and challenges, shaping us for the exciting times ahead.

Looking forward to 2024, CLR is committed to exploring and promoting diversity in construction more actively. We believe that a diverse and inclusive environment is not only beneficial for our community but essential for the growth and sustainability of our industry.

We will remain dedicated to fostering leadership and prioritizing the safety of our industry. As we embrace the new year, our agenda includes an emphasis on refining our leadership training programs.

The holiday season, while a time for celebration, also reminds us of the responsibility we carry for the safety and well-being of our community. I urge each of you to stay vigilant, make responsible choices, and look out for one another. Remember, the welfare of our colleagues and the wider community is in our hands.

I also want to stress the importance of mental well-being. The transition into a new year can be a challenging period for many. It’s important to acknowledge that everyone’s mental and emotional health matters. If you find this time of year difficult, we encourage you to seek support.

As we bid farewell to 2023 and welcome 2024, let’s do so with a commitment to build a better, more inclusive, and safer industry. Here’s to a year of positive change, growth, and success.

Stay Safe and Happy Holidays,

Ken McCormack
