News & Events October 2025 CLR Connector: Strengthening Employers, Agreements, and Industry Growth
Prompt Payment legislation, upcoming industry bargaining, and expanding leadership training are shaping the next chapter for construction employers in British Columbia. Through programs like Better SuperVision, CLR is making supervisor development more accessible across the province, with new sessions coming to Northern B.C. in early 2026.
We continue to work with partners across the industry to improve safety, mental health, and productivity for unionized construction employers. Collaboration with government, training providers, and industry associations helps ensure employers have the tools and insights needed to stay competitive and resilient.

British Columbia’s construction industry is built on collaboration between employers, unions, and the people who keep projects moving forward every day. At the Construction Labour Relations Association of BC (CLR), we are proud to represent the unionized construction sector and support employers across B.C. and Canada through effective labour relations, training, and advocacy.
From major projects to local worksites, CLR helps employers navigate collective bargaining, labour policy, and workforce development. We work directly with members to ensure fair agreements, promote safe and respectful workplaces, and strengthen industry competitiveness.
