Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Administrative Assistant based in New Westminster, BC. The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including general administrative and reception duties, providing support and assistance to other team members as required, promptly processing contractors’ job support requests, attending and travelling to corporate events as needed, and performing other duties as assigned.

Position Type: Full-time, Permanent
Pay Range: $55,000 – $65,000
Location: 97 Sixth Street, New Westminster, BC (or at another office location as determined by the employer)
Travel Requirements: Employees are expected to travel as required and must have access to a vehicle and a valid, unrestricted Class 5 driver’s license.
Reports To: President & CEO
Supervised By: Office Manager
Receives Work From: All staff members, as approved by the Office Manager
Time Commitment: Employees are expected to work 7 hours per day, Monday to Friday, with a 1-hour lunch break. Additional time may occasionally be required during evenings or weekends to support organizational needs or events.
**Purpose of Position: This position is responsible for supporting CLR operations by maintaining the office and its systems
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Take directions and provide support to the office manager.
- Perform general administrative and reception duties, including (but not limited to) greeting clients and visitors, handling incoming calls and communications in all forms and assigning them to the appropriate team member.
- Perform general office clerk duties.
- Provide support to and assistance to other team members as required.
- Process contractors’ job support requests promptly.
- Attend and travel to corporate events as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications & Educational Requirements
- Proven experience (3 years minimum) in an administrative assistant position.
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
- Intermediate skills in MS Excel.
- A certificate or diploma in office/business administration; ideal (but not mandatory).
Preferred Skills
- Mature, customer-service-oriented professional with a strong command of verbal and written communications in English, with advanced telephone and interpersonal skills.
- Take charge, self-starter, able to work independently with little daily supervision.
- Flexible and willing team player.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and perform duties with accuracy to completion.
- First Aid certificate.
